Over the years SEO has fundamentally changed. When we started it was very much a cat-and-mouse game of trying to stay one step ahead of Google, and quickly making changes as its algorithm changed. SEO can 6 to 9 months to show a return on money spent. This is because it takes time for Google to reward the work we do, and the rewards compound over time. As such we want to manage your expectations, and also work with clients who give us the time to show them results. If you need quicker returns, you should consider Paid Search Advertising. Many companies start with a PPC campaign and then switch to SEO.
It typically takes 6 to 9 months to see return on your SEO spend, though we often see some quick wins before this. Because of the nature of SEO, we are looking for long-term relationships with customers who share an expectation of results next year, rather than results tomorrow. We offer quick returns using Paid Search if you need results sooner.
We do more work at the start of a relationship with a client, particularly in the first few months. Rather than charging a setup fee, we ask clients to commit to us for twelve months and we then absorb these costs.
